As a person who would rather use less mouse and more keyboard, I’m constantly on the hunt for keyboard shortcuts. So it is to my delight that there are at least 3 ways of switching tabs:

Ctrl+Tab to go forward in the tab bar (wraps around at end), and Ctrl+Shift+Tab to go in reverse, with wrapping around at the end.

Ctrl+[Number], to switch to the nth tab from left. Example: See image below. To switch to Facebook, I can type Ctrl+4.

tabbar
Caveat: This only works with the first 10 tabs. There is no “11” key on the keyboard.

Ctrl+PageUp does the same as Ctrl+Shift+Tab, and vice versa with Ctrl+PageDown.

These commands should (theoretically) work with Mac OS by substituting Ctrl with Command.
