Ever visit a website where for some reason, you just can’t download their images? Maybe the right click is disabled, or clicking “View Image” shows an annoying blank image (usually known as spacer.gif).<\/p>\n

Now you can work around virtually any website, and download the images you want. I’ll show you how to do it in Firefox, the browser that I use most, and the browser that makes this task the most simple.

Step-by-step<\/h1>\n

  1. Find the website that thinks they’re so smart<\/li>\n
  2. Go to Tools -> Page Info. If you don’t see the menu bar, try pressing Alt.<\/li>\n
  3. Once you’ve got Page Info open, click on the Media tab:\"media-tab\"<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. You should see a drop-down menu of all the media content contained within the webpage. Most of the content may be background images, social media icons, and fillers. Scroll through all the content until you find the image you’re looking for:\"image-select\"<\/a><\/li>\n
  5. Click on the Save As… button just above the top-right corner of the Media Preview box.<\/li>\n
