Ever since I kicked this blog off with a silly post about how I lost a Twitter competition, it&#8217;s gone through many changes and never stopped. And it&#8217;s not going to stop any time soon.<\/p>\n<p>Funny thing is, I never imagined that this blog would thrive for such a long time. I created this blog on this day in 2009, with no expectations but to write a single post. But now, looking at the numbers on my Dashboard:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>286 posts.<br \/>\n14 pages.<br \/>\n24 categories.<br \/>\n780 tags.<br \/>\n374 comments.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8230;the numbers are still rising.<\/p>\n<p>This year was a big year for Thought Box, especially since I&#8217;ve moved it out of the .wordpress.com subdomain back in December. To me, it&#8217;s a big step for this blog, and I look forward to all the advantages this custom domain has.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, I&#8217;ve set up a whole personal website around my blog, and this blog&#8217;s focus now will be a place to showcase my writing and my sporadic ramblings about technology, the arts, and whatever random stuff pops up in my head.<\/p>\n<p>Looking back, it&#8217;s amazing to realize it&#8217;s already been four whole years.<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Related Posts generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yep, that&#8217;s how long this good ol&#8217; blog has been around!
