Three celebrity deaths in three days. What a tragedy. The world was shocked on Friday, June 26 to learn that pop star Micheal Jackson, age 50, had died in his Los Angeles home shortly after noon. Farrah Fawcett, too, died losing her battle with cancer. And Monday, Billy Mays has died in his sleep? What has this world come to?
It could be a hoax. Some conspiracy theorists could’ve faked the 911 call and pretended that Micheal Jackson is dead, while in reality, he’s hiding somewhere, watching his album sales soar and people playing his music all over. I don’t think he died from over-rehearsing or too much Demerol as many sources suggest. It is very possible that Fawcett died from cancer, so we’re going to put that aside. But now Billy Mays is dead, you know, that pitchman who advertised OxiClean and is on the Discovery Channel show Pitchmen. These three deaths, all very close to each other, could be part of a bigger hoax to get the world’s attention.
Others believe this is an event caused by supernatural beings. My friend said, on Twitter: “I wonder, could this be some kind of supernatural thing happening? I believe the Bible says…that our idles will die and then the…end of the world happens.” Furthermore, Billy Mays was also fifty years of age when he died. The possibility that this is caused by God or another deity cannot be ignored, although most of us can agree this is highly unlikely.
“Next thing you know, it’s going to be Britney Spears”, said my friend. If we witness regular celebrity deaths, than people will start panicking and thinking that the end of the world is coming.
I’m not saying I don’t believe Jackson, Fawcett, and Mays are dead, but it’s possible this could be a hoax.
I don’t think it was a hoax.
1. Farrah Fawcett had CANCER in many important places. She has been unconcious and in a coma the past few months and years. It was expected.
2. Michael Jackson had many mysterious health problems that not many knew about. Once, when returning from a foreign country for a medical appointment, he was caught in a wheelchair. This and other strange conditions probably led to his mysterious death. He was obviously unhealthy.
3. Billy Mays’ death can also be proven. He was on a plane ride which had a very rough landing. He bumped his head. Head trauma is what most likely killed him (the autopsy is today, I’m pretty sure I’m right). He bonked his head. He might not have felt anything, but if you bump it at the wrong place, it can cause bleeding and swelling which will kill you. The night before his death he stated that he didn’t feel well. Certain head traumas are very discrete and barely detectable. It was most likely a brain condition that led to his untimely death.
Or it could be some very elaborate hoax. I think my ideas are a bit more viable as they have facts and information.
Well, your Michael Jackson theory seems viable. However, the religious thing is also viable, yet also not. IF more “idols” die, I will have to assume it’s supernatural. But it is quite unlikely. Good blog post.
