As you all know, my username is “Deathgleaner”. People have no idea where that came from, but I didn’t make it up. It’s the name of a fictional animal. This animal is from “The Future is Wild”, a documentary series that speculates what life may be like in several million years. The deathgleaner is a predatory bat that lives in the rainshadow desert fifty-million years ago. It is a decendant of the vampire bat. I used to be fascinated with this show, and this was my favorite creature just because of its name, and that’s how I got my username.
