New Year’s resolutions sure are popular, aren’t they? My friend Darren once posted on his blog (now defunct), “what’s your New Year’s resolution? Mine is 1920×1080”. I don’t remember if his screen res was exactly that, but I still chuckle every time I think of that post.

And by the way, my New Year’s Resolution is 1600 by 900. You can find out yours here.

What’s ahead

Silly puns aside, here’s what you can expect from The Thought Box as well as g-liu.com in 2014:

  • Another complete redesign of my personal website. If I turn out to be especially productive, this should be finished in about a week!
  • More subtle theme customizations to this blog. Iconic One is great, but deserves a few cosmetic enhancements.
  • More posts about coding. I was recently hired as the webmaster for ASUW, so as I delve into the intricacies of WordPress, PHP, and MySQL, I’ll pass on the info to you readers.
  • Faster page loading time, increased W3C standards compliance

Happy New Year 2014!
